I love Jane Sassaman's work - and I envy you for getting to take a class with her. That moth quilt is really amazing and so is "Personality of A Leaf". Looking forward to seeing more of your willow quilt!Mishkathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14725068038095032321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4349245802016988426.post-28411365709260764132009-07-10T11:50:08.437-04:002009-07-10T11:50:08.437-04:00I've admired Jane's work for years! I love hand quilting but at some point a few years ago i realized i was going to have to learn how to machine quilt if i ever wanted to finish up more than one or two of my projects. I haven't tried Jane's technique yet, but it seems like it's just a long straight stitch with a thicker thread.quiltcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07957819126177446578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4349245802016988426.post-81644675955481347582009-07-09T15:06:18.139-04:002009-07-09T15:06:18.139-04:00Beautiful! Mom wishes she had learned about doing a machine stitch that looked like hand-quilting as she always hand-quilted hers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4349245802016988426.post-76186208090746048162009-07-09T11:58:00.700-04:002009-07-09T11:58:00.700-04:00Those are beautiful quilts!
