Sylvie smelled the catnip and kept looking up at the table and meowing to let me know it was there and she wanted it. Finally on Sunday evening i put the mat on the nest box in front of the fridge and Sylvie instantly appeared and took it over. She rolled on it, she chomped on it, she licked it...she was loving it!
And then her dear sweet "brother" Louie appeared. Louie leaned in close to Sylvie, he squeezed between her and the fridge, he started vigorously washing her ears, all the way wedging himself onto the mat! Finally she gave him an annoyed chomp on the ears and left...leaving the mat to Louie!
They've been pretty good sports about taking turns...but mostly it seems that Sylvie claims it and then Louie "steals" it. Interestingly, neither Gingy nor Fuzzy has tried it yet, but then again, neither of them have been that interested in this nest box before either...
Those boogie mats are SO desirable. We were wondering about the boogie mat ... 'cos we're bruvfurs ... and I don't let Alfie share mine ... so we wondered if ... could it be ... is it for ... paws crossed ... us?
ReplyDeleteMysteries, mysteries! The world is full of mysteries! We think that all Boogie Mats are good boogie mats!
ReplyDeleteTommy and The Girls
shhhhh....Milo and Alfie...Meowmy didn't want to spoil the surprise but we guess she might have let the cat out of the bag (so to speak)...but she did say something about having to go to the Post Office tomorrow, and Customs forms, and other cryptic mutterings...so...maybe...keep your paws crossed!
ReplyDeleteyour friends,
Louie (i got the Boogie Mat now!), Sylvie (i want the Boogie Mat now!), Fuzzy (i want my Meowmy's lap now!), and Gingy (i'd like some fresh chicken now!)
We wish we could find boogie mats! Mom will have to check our PetSmart!
ReplyDeleteOh this IS a saga isn't it. How about three mats apiece! Then Louie can't have them ALL at once!!
ReplyDeleteWe love our Boogie Mats - we have two and have learned how to share, mostly...
ReplyDeleteWe love, love, love our boogie mats! We're very grateful for them.
ReplyDeleteJust like kids, everyone loves a new toy at first. The novelty eventually wears off and the toy is forgotten. At least it's that way here. I think the idea of making them for the craft fair is an excellent idea!
ReplyDeleteThose boogie mats are so cool. We actually adore ours! Thank you for the sweet card for my birthday. I knew they were going to get the kitty with milk and a comfy cushion!
ReplyDeletePurrs and noselicks your way, Siena.
I've been very preoccupied lately and have missed a few of your posts!! But I see that you've been very busy with all sorts of things!
ReplyDeleteThese mats are terrific - I assume they have catnip between the layers?
I will have to make one for my princess!
Great idea for a craft fair!
We don't have any boogie mats but I can see how they would be an item to fight over! Seeing none of our 3 cats can be together we would need 3 or just rotate it around. Sylvie and Louie look so content on it!
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the kiss: It was over at Daisy the Curly Cats place. The red parts in our post are mostly links (the other type of human is colourblind so he never sees the links. Mom should change that somehow). Check out the kiss here. Siena was very happy as she actually has a little crush on Harley. He's gorgeous!

A safe trip for your mom! We will miss you and eagerly await your return.

Hiya! We're back! Ooh, those Boogie mats are lovely - I've never seen them here in the UK. We have quite cool little cat beds for ours, I haven't got a camera any more, but when I get another one, I'll show you! Hope you're all OK over the pond there! It's nice to be back!
