Another historical cat photo

It wasn't that long ago that Gingy suddenly decided it was o.k. for her to sleep someplace else on the bed other than on the cat towels at the foot of the bed. And then last week i came into the bedroom and found her sound asleep curled up against the pillows! That's now her favorite evening napping place. I wonder where she'll decide to sleep next!
The other day Fuzzy hopped up on the little bookshelf on the side of the desk my father made for me. After he'd perched there for a while, he relaxed and fell asleep...love those black pawpads amidst the white foot fluff!

  1. Cats can and often do, sleep anywhere don't they! My Lucy is in the airing cupboard at the moment!

  6. I saw an episode of HGTV where they did a bedroom makeover for a woman with cats. They covered short shelves with carpet and mounted them stair-step style up the wall across from her bed for the cats to climb!

My male, who almost never sleeps on the bed, has now decided to come to bed with me (I go to bed earlier than my husband and I shut the bedroom door when I go.) Cats are so funny, how they change their minds about things.

  7. Good for Gingy! Pillows are supremely floofy after all!

  8. Foofy foot fluff! LOL! What a sweetie. In our house, they fight over pillow-leaning (the cats, not the rabbits, who wouldn't be caught dead on the big high bed).

  9. I love how our cats just suddenly 'decide' to change where they sleep.
Kristy currently resides on a shelf in a bookcase in our family room. My husband left a pillow on the shelf one day and the rest is history!
