Yes, it's a pretty ginger girl kitty and a cute tuxie boy on the bed together...that's not news anymore, as Gingy has been sleeping on the bed with the boy cats and me since late winter. What's new is this is the first time (that i've seen anyhow) that Gingy was sleeping on the bed other than on the cat towel at the foot of the bed! I guess she suddenly realized that not only was it o.k. for her to be on the bed, she could be anywhere on the bed that she wanted to be!
That picture was taken this past weekend. Last night when i went to bed, Gingy was sound asleep on her back in the middle of the bed! She sleepily moved to the cat towel when Fuzzy leaped into bed. I'm not sure why it's taken her 4 years to come to this realization, but i think it's nice. Now if only she and Sylvie could learn to get along....
Lovely to see the two of them together on the bed, sweet! We have the same problem with Bob and the other two...he just dislikes them so much, and growls and spits at them, poor little things! They want to be friends with him so much, but it's not going to happen!

ReplyDeleteHi Angel and Kirby's mom. Yes, there's definitely hope that Angel will become more secure and friendly with lots of love, patience, and time. Gingy certainly wasn't abused in her other home, but her family was very busy. She's really blossomed in the 4 years that she's been here (she was 9 when i adopted her).
ReplyDeleteLove this photo. And that's funny about Gingy and the cat towel - it always amuses me that cats get those ideas in their head. Our bed is the cats "truce zone" during the day - they all sleep in there while we are at work.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely picture. And it took her four years :-) Our Woman says that's why it fun to live with cats, we learn new things all the time.
