Around the house--cats

One of my friends from quilting who is a very talented artist made me the cat on the left...she took a ceramic cat and then covered him with little bits of fabric, painted on features, and sealed the whole thing, resulting in this fabulous patchwork cat. She also gave me the porcelain cat on the right...just brought him back for me from a trip to Texas!

Gingy quite smugly taking over the pillows.

Louie showing that even mancats like pink cat towels to snuggle on.

Sleepy Fuzzy.

The super snuggler.

  1. Lovely pictures of all of you! and that friend knows your mommy well, what lovely presents. Come by today and celebrate with us - it's our first blogoversary and it wouldn't be the same without you!

  2. Lovely photos, cats do sleep alot don't they?

  3. Nice to see you all in repose! I think it is time for a little nappy-poo.

  4. It's a good day to be snug and cozy inside.

  5. That looks like good caturday activities.

  6. You sneaked some new posts in on me when I wasn't looking! I've been checking, but I missed these while I was on vacation.

I LOVE this quilted cat! What a clever idea. I have a ceramic cat that my mother made a "hundred" years ago. She was going to make the "Calico Cat and the Gingham Dog" but she only got as far as the Calico Cat. But I love this crazy quilt cat. You lucky dog!

You quilt and art shows were fun to visit. Thanks for taking us along.

  7. Sweet ceramic cats, but the best cats are the real cats!!!!

  8. Hi Paula! Great to have a little time for catching up with your blog, and seeing the pussycats in all their furry glory again! Hope you are all well - isn't it amazing how autumn has come arounf agian, so soon, it seems!

  9. Oh, there's nothing quite like snuggly sleepy cats to make one relax! Wonderful photos!
